Felines is an educational platform that maps stray cat colonies and converts everyday citizens into guardians — without requiring them to love cats first.
The product was born from a real gap: 10 million cats live on Brazil's streets, and almost every existing platform was built for people already part of the cause. Nobody built a bridge for the conflicted neighbor, the curious passerby, or the averse citizen. Felines speaks to these people — and conversion happens through logic, not emotion.

The Hack the Kitty 2026 theme is "world domination" — cats taking over the world.
Most projects will interpret this literally: celebrating cat dominance or amplifying it in some way. Felines made the more strategic and more faithful reading of what real domination actually means:
Real domination isn't convincing the already-convinced. It's conquering those who still resist.
Stray cats already exist in mass numbers. What's missing isn't more love from cat people — it's the support of those who aren't on their side yet. The neighbor who complains, the building manager who wants the cats removed, the curious person who doesn't know what to do. These are the unconquered territories.
Felines is the instrument of that domination: education that doesn't preach, doesn't judge, presents facts and lets citizens reach the conclusion on their own. And when they do — they've become an ally without realizing it.

Each converted citizen is a safer colony, a less conflicted neighborhood, one more step toward a world where stray cats have guardians — not because people were convinced to love cats, but because they understood it made sense for them.
This is world domination. One neighbor at a time.
